In the everlasting quest to figure out this thing called a web page, I'm planning on switching my RSS Feed today. I'm hoping that you'll get switched over somehow automatically but that may just be wishful thinking. If your feed stops functioning, please just click on the RSS or Atom feed links on the right column of the blog you're subscribed to and re-subscribe. The reason for the switch is to try to get a better grasp of how people are using the site. I want to make sure that the site is as useful as possible.

Two small tidbits of info

1. We've reached 500 registered users. I'll be sending out a reward to registered users soon.
2. Take a look at your menu bar / address bar in your browser and you should notice (once your cache is cleared) a new little icon that I've managed to get shown, after much gnashing of teeth. Looks like this:

I'm still working with the developers to get the Store fully functional but that should be finished soon. I'll keep you updated.

A few of you have been so kind as to purchase HD downloads from the TWF store. Thanks for that, and thanks for Thomas N. for getting it up and running in the first place. It does what we wanted it to do but we recently decided we'd like it to do more. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be trying to get it online but there may be a few hiccups. If you've purchased one or more HD Downloads, you should still have access to those downloads on the store. If you run into problems, please let me know as soon as possible so I can fix them and make sure you get what you paid for. I'm sure everything will go without a hitch at least on the user side. In the meantime, consider how useful access to over 28 hours (and growing) of full HD fly tying video could be. Think "Subscription". I'll make a full announcement when its ready. In the mean time, happy tying.

I have to give props to flyazon.com via Jason Borger for finding this. I've been hearing about this and we'll have to see how it translates to film, but this is a classic that most of us who angle with a fly have read at least once.
