    absolutely the best! Mr. Flyfisherman and tyer and historian. Tyes flies that work and takes the bs out of the presentation. The history is just great.

    Great tying lesson and I wish we would had used the spent-wing method you show here. (We did the wings up high and a real challenge too) Never again!

    We used olive dubbing and olive hackle for a slight change in hue. Your hackle tail was easier too and much faster/neater than horse hair off an old paint brush.

    Thanks for showing us a better way!
